Intentionally Rude and Disruptive (Part 2)
So many things have happened in this issue.
As noted in my last entry, I was banned from WHT “forever”.
The circumstances surrounding my ban, were based on my reaction to a WHT moderator, dogging me and avidInteractive in the staff only forums of WHT, in regards to license transfer fees that are invoked upon the request of selling an avidInteractive software license.
He abused our staff based on the claim that he knew nothing about the fees. He then started the WHT thread in the staff forum, based on the same claim.
My reaction of course, was anger. I was angry because this guy had the nerve to trash us based on not knowing about these fees, when I absolutely knew that he had prior knowledge of them, as he was somewhat of a spokesperson at WHT, in regards to keeping clients honest when selling these licenses. When he had to pay them, suddenly he knew nothing about them, and was pissed that he had to pay them, because with those fees, he would be selling the licenses at a loss.
Now, a week later this moderator FINALLY admits:

While I didn’t remember it, this past June I had a post on WHT in which I mentioned the $249 cost and $10.99 transfer fee for ID. Nothing prior to that or since, that I can find, so it had slipped my mind, apparently.</blockquote>
This coming after the following statement:
<blockquote>Mark, you’re completely wrong here, or just making it up to help your “case”. I just checked at your forum, and in my 32 posts, not one mention of this. I read through them all to make sure, since I didn’t recall this. Did you? As for WHT, same thing prior to when this issue began. Prior to that date, I didn’t know about the fee.</blockquote>
Oh and:
<blockquote>I never saw them, and others I’ve asked only learned about the fees recently. I saw no mention of this fee until recently on WHT either. If it was in place as you say, surely some of those early sales would have mentioned it. None did that I saw.</blockquote>
and of course…

Hold on, not done yet…

Now, after all of that, please go back to the first quote.
So nice of him isn’t it? Basically, because of it “Slipping his mind”, he abused our staff, and created a staff only thread at WHT to dog me, avidInteractive and our “NEW transfer fee policy”. I became angry because of this, and brought it to his attention, and I was banned.
After all of this, it shows how truly unethical WHT actually is. The guy admits it, and I’m still banned for being “Rude and Disruptive”. What about him being rude and disruptive torward avidInteractive and myself, calling me a liar, claiming that I was the one who was dishonest, etc, and based all on LIES…. errm umm I mean “Slip of the mind”.
Let me ask you:
Wouldn’t you be rude, if you knew a guy was trashing you, claiming he knew nothing about your policy, and all the while, you knew he absolutely did? Further he tries to destroy your credibility by saying “you made it up to prove your case….you’re a liar”? Of course you would be angry, and have a rude attitude about it. It’s human nature to react that way when someone is trashing you for no reason. Yet, his behaviour is not found to be rude or disruptive, and his buddies (WHT mods) still think I was treated fairly, and I remain banned.
No, WHT is not unethical, corrupt, or dishonest at all huh?
