Using Email Templates, you can determine what information each person in your contact lists
receives.
Modifying Email Templates
Modifying email templates is very easy. Follow the instructions below to get started.
- Go to Edit > Email
Templates
- The next window you will
see is the actual Template Editor window.
You will notice that the Template Editor is very straight forward. There are some things to
note however.
ServeraSuite's Template Editor recognizes a group of special tags, which will be converted to
their actual values at the time Servera sends the emails to the contact list.
Recognized Special Tags
- [PORT_NAME] - This
tag represents the actual name of the port that is not responding.
- [SERVERGROUP_NAME]
- Represents the name of the server group the port is listed
under.
- [SERVERGROUP_URL]
- Represents the URL or domain of the server group.
- [SERVERGROUP_ROOTPASS]
- Represents the root password of the server group
(Note: this tag should only be used for contacts that you trust with your root password.)
- [TEST_TIME] - Represents
the date and time of the last port check.
Once you are done editing your templates, you can press Save Changes to store the
changes you have made.
Note
You must alter one template at a time. If you alter more than one template before pressing
the Save Changes button, only your last template change will save.
